APH - Australian IndependenceAustralia ambled up to where New Zealand was waiting on the long empty road. New Zealand tugged at her long calf-length skirt in absent-minded annoyance as she leant against a fence post. She would much rather be wearing pants and a jacket like Australia was, but England was adamant that as a woman she should be seen in respectable women's clothes. Sure, she had to look respectable, but Australia was allowed to wear whatever he wanted, and looking at him as he strolled up the road to meet her, she noticed that his smart outfit was rumpled and covered in dust, as though he had decided to stop and wrestle a snake or a crocodile on the way here.
